Certified Senior Housing Professionals

Certified Senior Housing Professionals (CSHP) of The Seniors Real Estate Institute are a select group of real estate agents who are specifically trained and educated in how to eloquently serve seniors and older adults above the age of 55.

The training includes a rigorous curriculum and vetting process to insure that senior adult clients and their families have access to professionals with not only a full appreciation for the unique circumstances involved in transactions involving older adults, but the competency to insure their successful completion.

Both of us on The Estate Conversions Team - Lisa D'Aloise and Michele Moon - have achieved the Certified Senior Housing Professional designation and are proud to deploy the knowledge we have received as part of our service to Orlando senior clients - or their caregiver families.

Additionally, Michele is a Client Care Manager & Trainer for The Seniors Real Estate Institute, frequently traveling the country conducting seminars and training other real estate agents on how to best serve senior clients and those above the age of 55.

 Late-in-Life Moves are Unique

Emotions run high and there are frequently more decision makers, more service providers, more complicated time lines, and more housing choices involved to name only a few of the added challenges faced by professionals and their clients before, during, and after the sale or purchase. Families look to the real estate agent as a trusted advisor to help them navigate the real estate and relocation maze.

Certified Senior Housing Professionals (CSHPs) are specialists who know that in order to best serve the distinct late-in-life transition needs of senior adults, they need to surround themselves with a resource team of trusted professionals.

Among the most respected REALTORS® in their individual markets, CSHPs have completed extensive prerequisite coursework and the in-depth review necessary to achieve the Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation.

As such, they are far more equipped than general real estate agents and are committed to serving as professional partners throughout the entire consultative process surrounding a late-in-life move.
